The high-transparency alumina ceramic is prepared through a hot forging technology, green bodies subjected to sintering are heated to 1500 DEG C to 1700 DEG C and are subjected to heat preservation for 0.5 h to 2 h, and then the green bodies are forged in the fixed direction; the green bodies are subjected to multi-line cutting and polishing, and the transparent polycrystal alumina ceramic with the linear light transmittance larger than 70% can be obtained. The high-transparency alumina ceramic preparation method is simple in process, the process is extended on the basis of a traditional preparation technology, only small investment is needed, and productivity is not limited; more importantly, light transmittance is obviously increased and can be increased from usual 30% to 40% to 65% to 70%, and even more. The high-transparency alumina ceramic preparation method has the advantages that remarkable competitive advantages and profit space are showed in the respects of manufacturing cost, product performance, large-scale production, environmental friendliness and the like.
