Preparation method of cobalt ferrite magnetostrictive material
The invention relates to a preparation method of a cobalt ferrite magnetostrictive material, which relates to a process in which hot isostatic pressure sintering is carried out on sintered cobalt ferrite to obtain a sample with high density, high magnetostriction coefficient and low magnetostrictive exciting field. The process comprises the following steps: preparation of raw material powder, pressure forming of powder and bland sintering, hot isostatic pressure sintering and thermal treatment. A sample of a cobalt ferrite ceramic material prepared by using the preparation method has the advantages that internal pores are reduced greatly and the density is higher than 99%; the absolute value of parallel magnetostriction coefficient is higher than 150ppm; the magnetostrictive exciting field is lower than 2000Oe. Since hot isostatic pressure sintering treatment is carried out on the cobalt ferrite magnetostrictive material, the application of the cobalt ferrite magnetostrictive material to a low-field high-frequency magnetostriction field is promoted and an important reference is also provided for the preparation of other functional ceramic materials.
