The invention provides a device for preventing an arch bridge transverse beam from falling. The basic structure of the device comprises a clamp, a force transmission piece and a transverse beam hanging piece, wherein the clamp is hooped on a bar tying rope above the transverse beam; the transverse beam hanging piece is a transverse beam connection piece mounted on the side face of the arch bridge transverse beam or a pocket hanging piece mounted at the bottom of the arch bridge transverse beam; one end of the force transmission piece is connected with the clamp hooped on the bar tying rope and the other end of the force transmission piece is connected with the transverse beam connection piece or the pocket hanging piece mounted at the bottom of the arch bridge transverse beam; the force transmission piece and the pocket hanging piece are any one of plates, ropes, bars, ropes and chains; the force transmission piece and the transverse beam hanging piece also can be combined to form a pocket hanging force transmission piece; a buffering piece made of rubber and foam plastic is further mounted between the beam hanging piece and the arch bridge transverse beam; the force transmission piece can also be a framework structure and a spring is mounted in a framework of the force transmission piece as the buffering piece; when an arch bridge hoisting bar loses the efficiency, the device can be used for receiving the falling transverse beam and greater secondary disasters are prevented from being caused; the device has a simple structure and low cost, and is convenient to mount.
