The foldable guardrail comprises a guardrail unit as well as a base, wherein the guardrail unit is mounted on a side of the operation platform; the base is mounted on the operation platform corresponding to the guardrail unit; the guardrail unit is rotationally connected with the base, so that the guardrail unit can rotate back and forth within a first position and a second position relative to the operation platform; atthe first position, the guardrail unit is vertically arranged on the operation platform; at the second position, the guardrail unit is horizontally placed on the operation platform. Due to rotational connection of the guardrail unit and the base, a guardrail can be arranged on the operation platform in a foldable manner without being hoisted or disassembled when the screw rod pump operation platform is mounted on a floating type drilling platform each time, so that the working efficiency is improved, the working time is shortened, and the working risk is reduced.
