The invention discloses a vacuum insulated panel and core material of the vacuum insulated panel. The vacuum insulated panel comprises core material and a high-gas barrier composite membrane, the high-gas barrier composite membrane packages the core material in a vacuum mode, and the core material comprises strip-shaped core material. The vacuum insulated panel is capable of improving the core material intensity based on lowering the thermal conductivity, the single layer damage does not influence the intensity of the other layers, the possibility that the core material continues to crack along the same direction after the core material cracks is reduced, and the maintenance is facilitated.
