The invention relates to a moving door driven by a linear motor, which mainly comprises a moving door body, travelling wheels and a guide rail, wherein the moving door body comprises an upper cross beam and a lower cross beam; the travelling wheels are arranged at the bottom of the lower cross beam; the guide rail is arranged on the ground; the moving door body can move back and forth on the guide rail via the travelling wheels; the linear motor for driving the moving door is arranged on the upper cross beam; the linear motor comprises a linear motor primary section and a linear motor secondary section, which interact with each other. The linear motor secondary section is arranged on the side wall of the upper cross beam; a door opening wall is arranged on one side part of the moving door body; the linear motor primary section is fixedly arranged on the inner side wall of the door opening wall; and a gap of 2-4 mm is reserved between the linear motor primary section and the linear motor secondary section. The moving door provided by the invention is directly driven by a linear motor, doesn't need any other power transmission or speed reduction mechanisms, has a simple structure and stable performance, saves energy and protects environment.
