The invention relates to a metal roof for building a plant, in particular to a metal roof connecting plate comprising an upper cover plate and a lower cover plate which are arranged on a concave-convex metal roof. The upper cover plate covers the lower cover plate, the lower cover plate is a groove with a downward opening, the edge of the lower cover plate is bent towards an inner wall to form a first bent portion, the cross section of the first bent portion is in an n shape, the first bent portion is connected at the upward folded edge of the metal roof in a clamped manner, the upper cover plate is fixedly welded above the lower cover plate, the edge of the upper cover plate is bent downwards to form a second c-shaped bent portion, and the second bent portion is connected on a flange of the metal roof in a clamped manner. The metal roof connecting plate is simple in structure, adjacent metal roofs can be connected, and corrosion is avoided.
