A platform for research: civil engineering, architecture and urbanism
The invention provides a non-slip walking board. The surface of the walking board is composed of two panels alternately; grooves formed in the outer surfaces of the two panels are different in direction; transverse grooves are formed in the outer surface of one panel, while vertical grooves are formed in the outer surface of the other panel. As the directions of the grooves in the two panels are vertical to each other, regardless of the directions of stripes on the bottoms of the shoes of a walker, one panel has a relatively large coefficient of friction with the bottoms of the shoes and the walker is not prone to slip.
