The invention discloses a door handle for a glass door. The door handle comprises a handle body, a warning light, an infrared sensor and a power supply unit, the handle body is a hollow rod-shaped member that is mounted on the glass door, the handle body is provided with accommodating space, a sensing hole and a light outlet hole, the sensing hole and the light outlet hole are communicated with the accommodating space, the warning light is electrically connected with the power supply unit, the infrared sensor is disposed between the warning light and the power supply unit in a series connection mode, the warning light, the infrared sensor and the power supply unit are disposed in the accommodating space, the warning light corresponds to the light outlet hole, the infrared sensor corresponds to the sensing hole, when the infrared sensor receives infrared rays of a human body, the infrared sensor is switched on, and the warning light is turned on. According to the door handle for the glass door, the warning light and the infrared sensor are disposed in the handle body, when a pedestrian approaches the glass door, the infrared sensor is switched on, and the warning light is turned on so as to warn the pedestrian against the glass door.
