Abrasive particle with at most three surfaces and one corner
The invention relates to an abrasive particle (10) with at most three surfaces (11, 12, 13), wherein the abrasive particle (10) contains at least one edge (5, 6, 7, 8) which has a corner (1, 2, 3, 4) at at least one end. The abrasive particle (10) can contain a ceramic material, particularly polycrystalline alpha-Al2O3. Abrasive particles (10) as a whole, methods for producing abrasive particles (10), moulds, abrasive articles, methods for producing abrasive articles and methods for abrading a surface are also disclosed.
