The invention discloses a preparation method of antifreezing magnesium oxychloride cement. The preparation method comprises the following steps: calcining dolomite mineral to obtain caustic dolomite dust; adding a magnesium chloride aqueous solution, sand and stone into the caustic dolomite dust, and uniformly mixing to form the antifreezing magnesium oxychloride cement. The magnesium chloride aqueous solution in the raw materials for preparation is used as an antifreeze agent in the antifreezing magnesium oxychloride cement. Thus, the antifreezing magnesium oxychloride cement has a good antifreezing effect. The preparation method is simple and easy to operate. The antifreezing magnesium oxychloride cement prepared by the above preparation method has good freezing resistance as well as good compressive strength. The invention also discloses the antifreezing magnesium oxychloride cement and its application in road construction. According to the freezing resistance and compressive strength, the antifreezing magnesium oxychloride cement meets performance requirements when used as a road construction material.
