The invention discloses a fireproof flame-retardant coating, which solves the problems of fire prevention, fire resistance, and elegant appearance of a coated wall. The coating is prepared by selecting ingredients of, by weight, 8-10% of borax, 6-10% of boric acid and 8-10% of sulfatase, adding the ingredients into 60-70% of water, heating to 90 DEG C for melting, and adding asbestos powder, sodium aluminate and light calcium carbonate while stirring. When color is needed, pigments can be added into the coating as required. The coating can beautify and decorate environment, has good photometric and chromatric stability, is fireproof, flame-retardant, attractive in price and quality, economical, and safe, has great market prospects, and can be used for coating of interior and exterior walls of various emergency fireproof places.
