The invention discloses a foundation pit supporting system. The foundation pit supporting system comprises two or more than two supporting main beams, two or more than two steel enclosing purlins, two or more than two beam string structures and a plurality of straight supporting pre-stress adjusting mechanisms, wherein the two ends of the supporting main beams are ejected against the two opposite steel enclosing purlins by the straight supporting pre-stress adjusting mechanisms respectively; the steel enclosing purlins are ejected against a pit wall; the beam string structures are mounted on the middle parts of the steel enclosing purlins and are located between the two supporting main beams. Only two supporting main beams are supported by the two opposite steel enclosing purlins, and the beam string structures are arranged in the middle parts of the steel enclosing purlins and between the two supporting main beams, so that the strength of the steel enclosing purlins is increased, and a construction field is larger and the construction is convenient; the quantity of the supporting main beams is relatively few so that the foundation pit supporting system can be more rapidly and conveniently mounted and detached and the construction efficiency is improved.
