The invention discloses an immobilization construction method of a building component splicing joint. The immobilization construction method of the building component splicing joint is characterized by including the following steps that (1) a covering plate component matched with the building component splicing joint is prepared and is wider than the corresponding splicing joint; (2) the covering plate component is bonded to the outer base surface of the splicing joint through elastic sealing glue, wherein an elastic sealing glue layer is arranged on the outer base surface of the splicing joint, the width from the outer side edge to the inner side edge of the elastic sealing glue layer is larger than or equal to 4 mm; when the displacement deformation amount of the width of the splicing joint is larger than or equal to 1.0 mm, the thickness of the elastic sealing glue layer is 1.5 to 5 times that of the displacement deformation amount of the width of the splicing joint, and the covering plate component is bonded to the elastic sealing glue layer of the outer base surface of the splicing joint and covers the splicing joint. The invention further discloses the structure, formed through the method, for immobilization of the building component splicing joint.
