The invention discloses a universal joint inclined strut capable of being conveniently applied inside and outside a supporting frame. Four rod pieces I perpendicular to one another are arranged at a joint, located in the same horizontal plane or in the same vertical plane and joined to a rod piece II perpendicular to the rod pieces I. The universal joint inclined strut comprises four inclined strut bodies, a semicircular clamping groove is fixed to each of the two ends of each inclined strut body and buckled to one side of the corresponding rod piece I, and the corresponding two semicircular clamping grooves buckled to the two sides of the corresponding same rod piece respectively are in butt joint and are fastened through a bolt. The universal joint inclined strut can be applied to any joint at any time, the rigidity of the joint of the supporting frame is enhanced, and thus the overall bearing capacity of the whole supporting frame is improved.
