Mortise lock
The invention discloses a mortise lock. The mortise lock comprises a shell, wherein the lock shell comprises an upper cover and a lock shell body, and a lock tongue assembly, a rotary knob driving assembly in a door, a locking plate, a locking plate reset part, an unlocking assembly, a reverse unlocking connecting plate, a handle driving assembly and a locking block are arranged in the shell body. When a stay tongue is driven to stretch out with a rotary knob in the door or a key outside the door, an outer handle is automatically locked and cannot be rotated; after the stay tongue and an inclined tongue are driven to retract with the key outside the door and reach an unlocking state, the outer handle is always kept in the locked state, so that the locked state is achieved without driving the stay tongue to stretch out with the key or the rotary knob in the door when the door is closed again, lock missing, caused by human factors, of the lock is reduced, the safety of the lock is improved, and when the automatic locking state is not needed, the outer handle can be unlocked just by continuing to rotate the rotary knob in the door after the stay tongue retracts into the lock shell.
