The invention provides a toothed belt lift type lifter. The toothed belt lift type lifter comprises a driving mechanism, a lifter support and a lifter base and is characterized in that the lifter support is a rectangular strip-shaped tube body, a gap forming a sliding rail is longitudinally formed in the sidewall of the tube body, a rectangular toothed belt guide slot is formed in the inner wall of the tube body of the lifter support, a toothed belt which can be pulled up and down and has tenacity is arranged in the rectangular toothed belt guide slot, the toothed belt is engaged with a toothed belt driving gear which is arranged at the upper end of the lifter support and on the lifter base and put through a guide slot formed in the tail part of the toothed belt, and the lower end of the toothed belt is fixedly connected with a slider clamped in the sliding rail. The toothed belt lift type lifter has the beneficial effects that the toothed belt driving gear is arranged on the upper end of the toothed belt so that the pushing force of the driving gear on the toothed belt is changed into upward lifting force, the toothed belt is prevented from bending deformation due to the pushing force, the frictional force between the toothed belt and the sidewall of the toothed belt guide slot is reduced, and the shortcomings of high abrasion, easy catching, high failure rate and short service life in the prior art are overcome.
