The invention discloses a ventilation and exhaust system for a garage. The ventilation and exhaust system for the garage comprises a proper ventilation system; the proper ventilation system comprises a first ventilation pipeline and a first ventilation blower. The ventilation and exhaust system for the garage further comprises a ventilation and exhaust system body; the ventilation and exhaust system body comprises a second ventilation pipeline and a second ventilation blower; air inlets capable of being opened and closed are formed in the first ventilation pipeline and the second ventilation pipeline; the second ventilation blower comprises at least two working modes, namely, the low rotating speed working mode and the high rotating speed working mode; the second ventilation pipeline communicates with an exhaust channel through a control valve. The ventilation and exhaust system for the garage meets the general ventilation requirement and is consistent with the provisions on fire protection and smoke exhaustion, as well as meeting the energy saving requirement of public buildings. With the adoption of the system, ventilation capacity of the garage can be decomposed into twice per hour, four times per hour and six times per hour according to the state of concentration of pollutants in the garage; in addition, the operation cost is far less than that under the blower frequency converting control.
