The invention discloses an artificial stone. The artificial stone is prepared from the following raw materials in percentage by weight: 15-50% of sand grains, 10-35% of a quarry waste material, 2-8% of glue, 10-20% of unsaturated resin, 0.8-2% of a curing agent, 0-2% of an accelerator, 0-2% of pigment and 40-50% of calcium carbonate. The artificial stone has the advantages that adsorption rate of the raw materials to unsaturated resin is greatly reduced, and the usage amount of the unsaturated resin which mainly influences deformation and aging of a sheet in a formula is greatly reduced, so that strength of an artificial stone sheet is improved, production cost is greatly reduced, and the produced artificial quartz stone sheet is hardly deformed or aged.
