The invention discloses a protecting structure for a big-gradient stone slope. According to the protecting structure, plant-growing plates and frames can be well assembled in advance by means of the modularized design of the protecting structure; in the field installation process, the installation process can be simplified and the installation difficulty can be reduced just by fixing protecting structure modules on the slope through anchor fixing holes; each plant-growing component is designed into a trapezoid platform structure, the plant-growing plates and frames form wedge-shaped grooves, and after each plant-growing component is clamped into the corresponding wedge-shaped groove, a small wedge-shaped space is also reserved at the lower part of the corresponding plant-growing component, so that the rainwater can be stored in the space; since drip irrigation pipes are arranged below the plant-growing components, in less rainfall seasons, a valve is opened, the rainwater stored in the wedge-shaped spaces can flow to the drip irrigation pipes and is replenished to plants of next layer of plant-growing plates. The protecting structure is convenient to machine and install, water collecting bags are saved and the cost is reduced.
