The invention discloses a connecting assembly for mounting a curtain wall back-attached steel frame onto a main structure. The connecting assembly comprises an adjustable corner connector for providing displacement adjustment in a horizontal direction, an adjustable sleeve core set providing displacement adjustment in a vertical direction, and a central shaft. The central shaft is fixedly connected with the adjustable sleeve core set in the vertical direction and connected with the adjustable corner connector in the horizontal direction. A structuring method comprises connecting the back-attached steel frame and the main structure through the connecting assembly. Through installation by the connecting assembly, three-dimensional adjustability of a whole curtain wall piece can be achieved, and stress on various loads of a building can be relieved; by means of the connecting mode through the connecting assembly, components can be firmly connected, and post-welding defects such as displacement difficulty can be overcome.
