The invention relates to a hydraulic drop box for a building. The hydraulic drop box for the building comprises a plurality of hydraulic drop box units and a base, wherein the hydraulic drop units are connected in sequence from top to bottom. Each hydraulic drop box unit comprises a first box body unit, a second box body unit and an inclined buffer plate, wherein the first box body unit and the second box body unit are connected, so that a vertical columnar water drainage cavity is formed; the inclined buffer plate is fixedly arranged in the first box body unit, and the included angle between the inclined baffle plate and the horizontal plane ranges from 3 degrees to 45 degrees. The hydraulic drop box units are connected in a mode that the first box body unit of each hydraulic drop box unit on the upper portion is connected with the second box body unit of the adjacent hydraulic drop box unit on the lower portion, and the second box body unit of each hydraulic drop box unit on the upper portion is connected with the first box body unit of the adjacent hydraulic drop box unit on the lower portion. Water drainage holes are formed in the base, and the base is fixedly connected with the hydraulic drop box unit at the bottommost end. According to the hydraulic drop box for the building, the potential energy of water can be reduced in the water flow descending process, then the speed of water flow is reduced, and damage caused by water flow impact on building components at the bottom of the hydraulic drop box is avoided.
