The invention discloses a wall surface decorating plate mounting structure and mounting method. The wall surface decorating plate mounting structure comprises a mounting pendant and a plurality of wall surface decorating plates, a plurality of bolt holes for connecting the decorating plates through bolts are formed in the edges of four sides of each wall surface decorating plate, the wall surface decorating plates are symmetrically spliced together to form a decorating wall, and the decorating wall is fixed on the wall body through the mounting pendant; the mounting pendant comprises a plurality of reference filler strips uniformly arranged and fixed on the wall body in parallel, horizontal support strips arranged at the bottoms of the reference filler strips to support the wall surface decorating plates, bolts inserted in the corresponding bolt holes of two decorating plates to connect the decorating plates, and fixing connectors arranged on the bolts and fixed on the reference filler strips to fix the wall surface decorating plates. The wall surface decorating plate mounting structure has beneficial effects of convenience in dismounting and mounting, difficulty in wall body damage, difficulty in wetting and the like.
