The invention relates to a template bracing structure for an ultrahigh shear wall and a construction method thereof. The template bracing structure comprises a shear wall template, support scaffolds, a connecting piece and diagonal bar members, wherein the shear wall template is braced on a lower shear wall structure, and a casting space is formed in the shear wall template; the support scaffolds are braced on two sides of the shear wall template; the connecting piece is anchored in the lower shear wall structure, and two ends of the connecting piece are respectively and fixedly connected with the corresponding support scaffolds; the diagonal bar members are braced on two sides of the shear wall template; certain ends of the diagonal bar members prop against the shear wall template, and the other ends of the diagonal bar members are fixedly connected with the connecting piece. According to the template bracing structure, fine adjustment on the perpendicularity of the shear wall template is realized by use of the bracing length of the diagonal bar members, so that the problem of difficult adjustment on the perpendicularity of the shear wall template in the prior art is solved.
