The invention discloses a hidden hinge applicable to doors and windows; the hidden hinge comprises a window sash hinge plate, a window frame hinge plate and a connecting mechanism; the connecting mechanism comprises a main connecting plate, an auxiliary connecting plate and an auxiliary connecting bar; a positioning hinge block is extended at one end of the window sash hinge plate; a positioning hinge hole is formed inside the positioning hinge block; a window sash hinge hole is formed at the middle of the window sash hinge plate; a long strip-shaped through-groove is formed at one side of the window frame hinge plate; a linkage block capable of reciprocation is embedded in the long strip-shaped through-groove; a window frame hinge hole is formed on the window frame hinge plate; two ends of the main connecting plate are respectively hinged with the positioning hinge block and the linkage block; one ends of the auxiliary connecting plate and the auxiliary connecting bar are hinged with each other; the other ends of the auxiliary connecting plate and the auxiliary connecting bar are respectively hinged to the window frame hinge hole and the window sash hinge hole; the middle parts of the main connecting plate and the auxiliary connecting plate are hinged with each other; one end of the window sash hinge plate away from the positioning hinge block is connected with an adjusting sliding block.
