The invention relates to a belt type buffer gear lifter which comprises a driving mechanism and a lifter bracket. The lifter is characterized in that a driving belt driven gear and a driving belt driving gear are respectively arranged at the upper and lower ends of the long-stripe lifter bracket and are connected and driven by a driving belt with a toothed hole; an isolation sheet is arranged on the lifter bracket to isolate a front side belt and a rear side belt of the driving belt; a slide block for mounting window glass is fixedly arranged on the front side belt, and a chute of the slide block is locked on a slide rail of the lifter bracket; a driving belt driving gear shaft is connected with the driving mechanism. The lifter provided by the invention has the beneficial effects that the contact area of the driving belt and the driving gear of the lifter is large, the stress points are scattered and the abrasion is less; the buffer gear plays a protective role on the gear when the gear is blocked or suddenly stops in the window lifting process, so that the service life of the lifter is prolonged.
