The invention discloses thermal insulation concrete for an exterior wall and a preparation method for the thermal insulation concrete. The thermal insulation concrete is prepared from the following raw materials in parts by weight: 40-50 parts of corundum powder, 20-30 parts of silicon micro powder, 35-40 parts of mineral processing tailings, 10-12 parts of diatomite, 40-50 parts of quartz sand, 8-9 parts of lentinula edodes cultivation materials, 0.5-0.6 part of an accelerant CZ, 0.3-0.5 part of polyvinyl acetate emulsion, 4-5 parts of hydroxyl polydimethy siloxane, 3-5 parts of polydimethyl silicone oil, 6-8 parts of aluminum oxide, 1.5-2.5 parts of polyether polyol, 1-2 parts of polytetrafluoroethylene fibers and an appropriate amount of water. The concrete produced by the preparation method has the advantages of being low in combustibility, high in fire resistance level, and free of emission of a volatile gas and a poisonous and toxic gas at a high temperature, is suitable for being used for the exterior wall. The modified lentinula edodes cultivation materials are fed into the concrete, so that the compactness, the bulk density, the permeability resistance and the compressive strength of the concrete are increased, the waste is changed into things of value and the energy resources are sufficiently utilized. The thermal insulation concrete is suitable for being popularized.
