The invention discloses a formula of tailing sand machine-made tile and a production process thereof. According to the production process, with gold, silver, molybdenum tailing sand as a main material, magnesium oxide, magnesium chloride and iron red as auxiliary materials, tape paper as a base layer, photosensitive paper as a top layer and glass fiber cloth as a sandwiched layer, the tailing sand machine-made tile is produced by virtue of the existing magnesite tile preparing device, the tailings resources are fully utilized, the area occupied for tailing stockpiling is decreased, the energy consumption is reduced and the atmospheric and environmental pollutions are decreased. The production process has the advantages of simple process flow, low cost and small investment and the product has the advantages of high strength, many colors, good heat-preservation property, noise-insulation property, thermal-insulation property, corrosion resistance and water resistance, long service life and the like and the market competitiveness of products is improved.
