The invention discloses a manufacturing method of an infrared-transmitted ZnS cowling ceramic. The method comprises the steps of manufacturing a biscuit by using an isostatic cool pressing process, and then obtaining a cowling through vacuum hot-pressed sintering. According to the invention, the pressure is transmitted by inert solid particles, so that uniform pressure distribution can be kept in the process of hot pressing, thereby obtaining an infrared-transmitted ZnS cowling ceramic product with uniform properties.
