A cement kiln heat-insulation composite brick with the heat insulation end of a lightweight spinel material is characterized in that the heat insulation end of the heat-insulation composite brick comprises 10-62wt% of MgO and 35-90wt% of Al2O3; and the heat conduction coefficient and the bulk density of the heat insulation end of the heat-insulation composite brick are 1.4-3.0W/M.K and 1.4-3.0G/CM<3> respectively. The cement kiln heat-insulation composite brick has the advantages of good energy saving effect and low heat conductivity, the heat conductivity of the heat-insulation brick is controlled within 2.3W/M.K, various materials can be selected as a hot end to match with the brick, and the heat insulation end is chromium-free and environmentally-friendly.
