A bridge support pillar comprises a pillar body, wherein a shock absorption device is arranged at the bottom end of the pillar body. A base is arranged at the bottom end of the shock absorption device, three grooves are vertically formed in the pillar body, fixing openings are formed in the grooves at equal intervals, a supporting disc is arranged on the pillar body, the edge of the supporting disc is hinged to a plurality of telescopic supporting arms through shafts, blind holes are formed in the inner side of the supporting disc, a spring is arranged in each blind hole, fixing blocks matched with the fixing openings are arranged at the front ends of the springs, and a support is arranged at the top end of the pillar body. The supporting disc is movably arranged on the pillar body, and the fixing blocks slide in the grooves, are clamped in the fixing openings after the height is selected and are reinforced and supported through the telescopic supporting arms. The bridge support pillar is reasonable in stress, high in bearing capacity, capable of effectively reducing the supporting number and low in construction cost.
