The invention discloses a reservoir operation dispatching diagram drawing method. The method comprises the following steps that 1, a conventional method is used for calculating breakage-proof water levels or water volumes, limited force discharge/water supply water levels or water volumes and abandoned water levels or water volumes in all time periods over the years; 2, the breakage-proof water levels or water volumes, the limited force discharge/water supply water levels or water volumes and the abandoned water levels or water volumes in all the time periods over the years are ranked; 3, a breakage-proof line, a limited force discharge/water supply line and an abandoned water line corresponding to the design dependability are extracted. According to the method, calculation is conducted year by year and time period by time period on the basis of inflow runoff length sequence data, and therefore the problem that dispatching diagrams drawn by different designers are different due to the fact that typical years and the selected number of years differ from person to person when calculation is conducted through a traditional typical year method is solved; meanwhile, all the time periods in all years are calculated, so the problem that a broken year is completely removed through a broken year removing method, and accordingly the number of water supply guarantee rate samples in all the time periods of the broken year is reduced is solved.
