The invention discloses elevated type parking equipment which is composed of a steel frame (1), a carrying trolley (2) and an electric control system (3). Stand columns in the steel frame enable main beams with rails to be elevated, and a plurality of automobile storage racks used for parking automobiles and at least one entrance hoistway are arrayed in parallel between the main beams along the rails. The carrying trolley moves along the rails on the main beams and carries the automobiles in a reciprocating mode between an entrance platform and the automobile storage racks through an automobile receiving device. After the automobiles are laid down on the automobile storage racks by the automobile receiving device, a front automobile receiving rack and a rear automobile receiving rack can penetrate through the automobile storage racks and make transverse movement along with the carrying trolley in the lower space, and when the carrying trolley is located over the entrance hoistway, the automobile receiving device can directly descend onto the entrance platform along guide rails on the hoistway from guide rails on the carrying trolley. In the whole carrying process, the operating efficiency is high. The elevated type parking equipment is suitable for outdoor installation, the influence on original ground facilities is small, and houses or roads or rivers or green belts or parking spaces can be located under the elevated main beams. A brand new mode is provided for solving the problem that parking is difficult in a city.
