The invention discloses a passive linkage locking mechanism for a double-leaf door of a passenger car. The passive linkage locking mechanism comprises a first door leaf and a second door leaf, wherein a lock hook is fixedly arranged at the upper part of the first door leaf; a baffle bar is fixedly arranged at the upper part of the second door leaf; the first door leaf and the second door leaf are connected with a transmission pair mechanism which is horizontally arranged above through connection pieces; a power source mechanism is arranged at one end of the transmission pair mechanism; the transmission pair mechanism is driven through forward rotation and backward rotation of the power source mechanism, so that the opening and closing actions of the first and the second door leaves can be realized; the power source mechanism is further connected with a linkage locking mechanism; the linkage locking mechanism is provided with two locking rods; after the door is closed, the linkage locking mechanism is driven to operate through the forward rotation and backward rotation of the power source mechanism, so that the locking rods are controlled to be clamped into or released from the lock hook and the baffle bar respectively, and furthermore, the door is locked or unlocked. With the adoption of the passive linkage locking mechanism, door sheets of the double-leaf door can be interlocked, so that the locking reliability of the door leaves can be effectively improved. Furthermore, the locking mechanism uses a passive locking manner, so that the structure is simple and the application prospect is good.
