The present invention discloses a novel composite material cross-flow fan blade, which is especially suitable for the cross-flow fan blade for the hanging machine indoor machine. The technical scheme comprises that: the blade comprises an elongated blade and has characteristics of high air flow, low noise and low pressure head. According to the present invention, mainly silicon carbide fibers and a ceramic are compounded so as to form a novel composite material, wherein the silicon carbide fibers are adopted as the reinforcement, and the silicon carbide substrate is added so as to prepare the composite material; the use temperature of the blade of the present invention can be up to 1500 DEG C and is much higher than the use temperature of the original cross-flow fan blade; the blade of the present invention further has characteristics of good heat resistance, good oxidation resistance, high strength, corrosion resistance, durability, and good development prospect; and the excellent performances of high temperature resistance, low density, high specific modulus, anti-oxidation, ablation resistance and the like of the ceramic material are provided, the characteristics of fracture behavior similar to the metal, insensitivity on crack, and no disaster damage of the fiber material are added, and the characteristics of low price and easy availability are provided, such that the product of the present invention is the preferred composite material.
