Machining method for re-forming rail head contour
The invention provides a machining method for a re-forming rail head contour. The method includes the steps that step 1, two sets of meshing milling cutter discs are longitudinally arranged along a rail from front to back; step 2, a set of first meshing formed milling cutter disc is longitudinally arranged along the part, in front of the moving direction of the re-forming equipment, of the rail; step 3, a set of second meshing formed milling cutter disc is longitudinally arranged along the part, at back of the moving direction of the re-forming equipment, of the rail; step 4, the first meshing formed milling cutter disc is fed into the rail head to conduct rough machining on the rail head contour; step 5, the second meshing formed milling cutter disc is fed into the rail head to conduct finishing machining on the rail head contour, so that the surface finish of the machining rail surface is improved; step 6, the re-forming equipment moves longitudinally along the rail to complete continuous machining of a section of rail. According to the machining method for the re-forming rail head contour, pressure angle cutting is not needed, the two milling cutter discs transmit in a meshing mode to achieve rail head contour re-forming, strength is exerted evenly in a forming process, and the forming precision is high.
