The invention provides a telescopic rolling brush device for sweeping the road surface. A telescopic main beam set I, a telescopic main beam set II and a telescopic main beam set III are the same in structure composition, each telescopic main beam set is composed of two sliding side beams, a fixed beam and a left and right rotating lead screw, and all the fixed beams are connected into a whole through fixed beam supports. A rolling brush telescopic shaft set is composed of two rolling brush side shafts and a rolling brush middle shaft. A plurality of sliding brush plates are assembled on the rolling brush side shafts in a sliding mode. A plurality of springs are assembled between every two sliding brush plates. When the operation width needs to be adjusted, all the left and right rotating lead screws are rotated according to the required direction at the same time, and therefore the operation width suitable for the road surface can be obtained; after operation is finished, all the left and right rotating lead screws are rotated at the same time to adjust the width of a sweeping rolling brush to be not larger than that of an engineering vehicle, so that the sweeping rolling brush is stored in an engineering vehicle storehouse and prevented from rusting or being damaged by collision with other objects when stored outside the storehouse.
