A sentry box having functions of solar power generation and water storage comprises a sentry box. A top plate of the sentry box is deployed in an inclined manner; a water tank is arranged on the edge of the lowest position of the top plate; the water tank is connected with the top end of a downpipe; the bottom end of the downpipe is connected with a water storage tank; the top plate is made of a solar power generation material which is connected with an accumulator through a wire. In rainy days, rainwater fallen onto the top plate can be collected into the water storage tank through the water tank and the downpipe to be used for flower watering or cleaning. During the day time, the solar power generation material is used for power generation, and power is stored into the accumulator through the wire; at night, the accumulator can also supply power for the lighting of the sentry box, and thus energy conservation and environmental protection are realized.
