The invention discloses a building method suitable for mountainous roads. The method includes following steps: grooving a mountainous road for 30-50 cm, removing slurry in the groove, filling the groove with mortar composed of cement and fine sand according to a proportion of 3:1, solidifying the mortar for 5 h, filling the groove with aggregated rock being 10cm in sizes to the height of 20 cm, filling the groove with mortar composed of cement and fine sand according to a proportion of 2:1, solidifying the mortar for 3 h, filling the groove with a basic layer material composed of lime, fly ash and loess according to a proportion of 1:1:1, punning the basic layer material, filling the groove with a stable basic layer material composed of fly ash, steel slag and white clay according to a proportion of 2:1:1, punning the stable basic layer material, pressing the basic layer material with an asphalt material composed of asphalt and aggregated rock according to a proportion of 3:1, and compacting the pavement by a road roller. The mountainous road built by the building method is firm, environmental-protective, stable, weather-resistant and crack-resistant and is long in service life.
