The invention relates to a bridge gap residue removal device capable of dissipating heat through heat dissipating sheets and a use method thereof. The bridge gap residue removal device is used for removing residue in a gap (e.g. a bridge expansion joint) of a bridge (9) and comprises a support plate (8), wherein the support plate (8) is used for stretching across the gap and is fixedly connected with the lower end of a vertical bracket (81), the upper end of the vertical bracket (81) is fixedly connected with a driving motor (82), the driving motor (82) is in power connection with a driving sleeve (820), and the external surface of the driving sleeve (820) is in slidable connection with the upper part of the internal hole of a sliding sleeve (7) through key fit.
