The invention discloses a seepage draining system of a tailing pond cohesive soil initial dam. The seepage draining system consists of a fitting-slope seepage draining layer and a percolating water discharging pipeline; the fitting-slope seepage draining layer is formed by sequentially laying a laminated sodium-based bentonite waterproof carpet (1), a coarse sand layer (2), a pebble layer (3) and a block stone layer (4), the percolating water discharging pipeline consists of a UPVC water discharging pipe (5) and terylene geotextile (7) covering the end part (6) of the UPVC water discharging pipe (5), and a flower hole is formed in the end part (6) of the UPVC water discharging pipe; the end part (6) of the UPVC water discharging pipe is arranged on the inner lower part of the fitting-slope seepage draining layer. By adopting the seepage draining system, the seepage draining and water reduction function can be well realized, the seepage supply source of the initial dam can be effectively blocked, the safety of the cohesive soil initial dam can be guaranteed, and the construction property in the building period of the initial dam can be realized; moreover, the seepage draining system has characteristics of convenience in operation, high reliability and low cost and is unlikely to block in the operation process of a tailing pond, high in reliability, long in service life and capable of meeting the seepage draining requirement of the tailing pond cohesive soil initial dam.
