The invention provides a parking assisting device. The parking assisting device comprises a controller which is positioned on the bottom surface, a camera, a voice prompter, electromagnetic coils positioned at four sides of a parking space, and sensors arranged at four corners of the parking space; the camera and the voice prompter are electrically connected with the controller; the electromagnetic coils and the sensors are electrically connected with the controller. With the adoption of the parking assisting device, the parking method and the distance to the front and back vehicles can be prompted to a driver; the parking assisting device has the characteristics of being reasonable in design and simple in structure.
