The invention discloses a garage door opener. The garage door opener comprises a main machine and accessories; the main machine is formed by a motor, a worm, a worm gear, gear shafts and gears; the accessories are formed by a pull rod, a sliding sleeve and a connecting rod; the worm is arranged on an output shaft of the motor; a worm gear shaft is provided with a transmission gear; the direction of the main machine, which is parallel to the worm gear shaft, is provided with the two gear shafts; the first gear shaft is provided with a driven gear and a transmission gear; the second gear shaft is provided with a driven gear; the transmission gear is meshed with the driven gears in a pairwise mode; the worm gear shaft is provided with an unfastening mechanism; the second gear shaft is connected with a limiting mechanism; one end of the sliding sleeve is fixed on a wall and the other end of the sliding sleeve is connected with the pull rod; the pull rod is connected with the second gear shaft through the connecting rod. According to the garage door opener, the structure is simple and the operation is convenient; meanwhile the repair and the maintenance are convenient, the installation and the production of an opened door are simple, and accordingly the cost is reduced; in addition, the garage door opener is provided with an unfastening device and accordingly the manual door opening can be achieved even in the case of no power.
