The invention provides an automatic window closing mechanism which comprises a window body and a window fan, wherein the window fan is arranged on the window body and can be bilaterally and rotatably opened and closed. A double-shaft motor is horizontally arranged above the window body, worms are symmetrically arranged at two ends of a rotating shaft of the double-shaft motor, a worm gear is fixedly arranged at the upper end of the window fan and in transmission connection with the worms, the double-shaft motor is connected with a humidity sensor by the aid of a circuit, and a limit switch is arranged at the upper edge of the window body and connected with the double-shaft motor by the aid of a circuit. By the aid of the principle that the air humidity is increased before raining, a humidity value in the air is sensed by the humidity sensor, the double-shaft motor is automatically controlled to start, a window is timely and automatically closed before raining, the living comfort of residents is ensured, life properties of the residents cannot be lost, and the automatic window closing mechanism is simple in structure, high in automation degree and wide in adaptive range.
