The invention discloses an isolating guardrail, comprising two upright columns, two support bases, one upper transverse rod, a lower transverse rod, a group of middle support rods; the isolating guardrail is characterized in that two ends of the upper transverse rod are connected with two upright columns; two ends of the lower transverse rod are connected with the two upright columns; two ends of the middle support rods are connected with middle brackets of two upright columns; and the support rods of the lower transverse rod of the two upright columns are fixed on two support bases. The isolating guardrail solves the common problems that the present traffic isolating guardrails are incapable of preventing and stopping pedestrians from climbing and crossing; when a pedestrian touches a rotatable reset hinge, the isolating guardrail can be rotated and has no stable acting points; because of human instincts, people cannot climb an unsupported object and the accidents caused by climbing over the isolating guardrail are reduced. Personal safety is guaranteed greatly; and the isolating guardrail is simple in structure, novel in design and easy in promotion.
