The invention relates to a foundation pit displacement monitoring method based on difference technology. The foundation pit displacement monitoring method includes modifying difference of observation distance, altitude difference and azimuth angles; calculating three-dimensional coordinates of monitoring points according to the modified observation distance, altitude difference and azimuth angles; calculating displacement deformation of the monitoring points according to the three-dimensional coordinates of the monitoring points; calculating the foundation pit displacement deformation according to the displacement deformation. The foundation pit displacement monitoring method has the advantages that in view of foundation pit displacement monitoring data, the foundation pit displacement is monitored by the difference technology, error of the coordinates of the monitoring points is +/-0.32 mm, error in the altitude difference is +/- 0.48 mm, and both are up to the observation accuracy of submillimeter level. Requirement of first-level horizontal displacement monitoring accuracy +/- 1.0 mm in the building deformation measurement standard can be meth and the requirement of second-level sedimentation observation accuracy +/- 0.5 mm can be met.
