The invention provides a rain collecting and treatment unit comprising a filter tank and a purifying tank. The filter tank is composed of an upper part and a lower part movably connected with each other. The top of the upper part is provided with a window. The bottom of the upper part is provided with a filter mesh. A liquid level meter is disposed on the inner wall of the lower part. The bottom end of the lower part is provided with a first water outgoing pipe which is connected with an inlet arranged in the top of the purifying tank. The first water outgoing pipe is provided with a valve. A sterilizing device and a purifying device are disposed in order in the purifying tank from top to bottom. The bottom of the purifying tank is connected with a second water outgoing pipe. The window is round; the size of the window is equal to the diameter of a sewer pipe. The rain collecting and treatment unit has the advantages that rain can be collected, sterilized and purified effectively and the treated rain can be used as water for daily use.
