The invention discloses a partition water supply system and method. The partition water supply system at least comprises a first water pump unit, a second water pump unit sequentially connected with the first water pump unit, a first and a second outlet flowrate sensors and a control cabinet. The second water pump unit performs pressure-superposed water supply by the aid of a second water supply extra lift of the first water pump unit. The outlet flowrate sensors are connected to outlet ends of the water pump units and used for detecting outlet flowrate of the water pump units. The control cabinet is connected with the water pump units and the outlet flowrate sensors and controls corresponding configuration parameters (O, H) operation of different water pumps of each of the water pump units.
