An automatic rainwater stopping device comprises a baffle plate. Control circuits are arranged on the outer sides of two ends of the baffle plate, motors are arranged on two sides of the baffle plate, a rainwater detection device is arranged in the middle of the baffle plate and connected with the control circuits through leads, the control circuits are connected with control motors through leads, rainwater is detected by the rainwater detection device, the control circuits automatically lifts the baffle plate by controlling the motors inside the baffle plate to stop the rainwater from entering the device, and the automatic rainwater stopping device can be erected at an underground entrance to stop entering of the rainwater, and has the advantages of simple structure, convenience in use and wide application.
