The invention discloses an on-site overhanging protection method of a high-voltage cable bailey truss under the condition of excavation of a foundation pit and relates to the technical field of construction. The on-site overhanging protection method includes steps of (1) anchoring an upright of the bailey truss; (2) erecting the bailey truss; (3) excavating locally under a cable; (4) forming an overhanging system; (5) overhanging the cable; (6) demounting an original cable groove; (7) excavating the foundation pit; (8) newly building a cable groove and demounting the overhanging system. The overhanging protection system for all high-voltage cables can be completed before excavation of the foundation pit in the corresponding positions, and during construction of the high-voltage cable overhanging protection system, and relevant staff of the power sector is invited to monitor and guide on the site. Meanwhile, wrapping protection of cables and cable joints is implemented by cooperation with the power sector, and construction safety is sufficiently guaranteed.
